3-Program Approaches
1School Skilling Initiative
Organizing training camps in schools for life skilling school children with practical skills for their socioeconomic engagement.
Training includes making of decoratives from non-biodegradable wastes, paper bags, soaps and cakes.
2Resuable Sanitary Pads
Training the school community members with the skills of making standard reusable sanitary pads.
Developing a pad making center for producing pads for girls at school
3Youth Skilling Program
Instituting a center for training young people who did not get the chance to acquire formal educational certification.
Training center provides training for skills such as Smart Climate Adaptive Agricultural Practices, Tailoring, Basic Building & Carpentry, SME's Business Management
SKY GIRL SANITARY PADS PROGRAM

Sanitary pads making center
We institute training centers for training and making of reusable sanitary pads in selected schools in a community.
Such Centers are managed by our Coordinators who coordinates activities of training, form school clubs and members as learning participants, invite parents, teachers and other practitioners of Menstrual hygiene management into the trainings.
- These centers also make menstrual sanitary pads that support the Period emergency support program for girls who begins to menstruate at school without having access to personal sanitary wears.
Menstrual Hygiene Management Sensitization
This aims to;
- Train adolescent girls in schools on good menstrual hygiene management practices.
- Sensitize the school and community members against period-stigma and frustration on school girls.
Reusable Sanitary Pads
Made with a 3-typed textile and waterproof polythene, the pad's design entails the "Shield" made of soft cotton textile to absorb flow, the "Liner" made of fomous PV material with durable abiity to hold firm while padding and the "pocket" to shold the shield onto the whole pad.
Time value
- With the use of sewing machine, one can make one pad in 10 minutes
- By hand sawing, our participants make one pads in 35 minutes in average
