OUR PROGRAM
Sky Girl school club
We organize the pupils/students in a structured school club called "Sky Club". This school club program has a leadership structure headed by the Senior Woman Teacher as the Club Coordiantor down to the students' leadership structure of the chairperson and the different secretaries. The school Coordinator is the Project Leader and supervisor in the diffferent schools.
Activities/Specific Objectives
- Menstrual hygiene management trainings through the club organization
- Training the club members on how to make reusable sanitary pads
- Making reusable sanitary pads for the school girls and provide emergency support to those begins to menstruates while at school.
Other Objectives
- Develop Leadership and public speaking skills in the learners
- Build self awareness, advocacy and confidence in the children.
SRHR ADVOCACY & SERVICES
This program aims at
- Creating public awareness abouth sexual and reproductive health and rights in the rural communities priority focus on the adolescents and women.
This is through public and school camping that enable our Team reach out to organized group as well as local radio announcements
Community Outreach Trainings
With the connection betweeen the schools and their respective community, we extend the services offered to the school clubs to the community members through the local leadership structure and assistant from the school.
Specific Objectives
- Extend training to empower community members in menstrual hygiene managament.
- Euiping the community members with the skills of making reusable sanitary pads to improve on ease of accessibility of the pads by the girls and mothers.
- Lead campaigns and advocacy for a menstrual stigma-free community.
The big MHM Dialogue
We monthly organize online and physical dialogues with stakeholders and partners aimed at accessing Menstrual Hygiene Management status in the community and providing strategic networks and connections for support, partnership and ease of work.

SKY CLUB UGANDA, HURACAN FOOTBALL CLUB
This is a football program that aim at reducing school absenteeism, drop out and developing sports talent. This program serves as sensitization platform on menstrual hygiene management and against menstrual period stigmatizaton
We organize football teams for girls in schools, train them basic and technical football, organize friendly games and tournaments.
SKY CLUB PROJECT-NABUGANYI
This is a combined 3 projects being implemented in Nabuganyi community, Busaana sub county Kayunga district.
This project aims to reduce the level of school dropout and absenteeism due to child hunger at school and menstrual poverty. It is involving two schools of Nabuganyi CU and Nabuganyi RC Primary school.
These Projects are;
- Smart Gardening & Climate Education to produce food to the school for child feeding of the members and training them on how to grow crops in limited space and incorporate Solid Waste Management Practices in crop production.
- Menstrual Pads Center. We are developing a center for making reusable sanitary pads managed by the school and designed committee. This is supporting girls to make their own sanitary pads which is reliable, affordable and safe to use.
- Huracan FC Sky Club Uganda. This project have registered 50 learners into a football team of both the boys and the girls and are being trained football basic and skills to improve their talents, nurture them to remain focus in school and complete their studies as well lobby support like scholarship and go back to school campaign for the children who are at home.
