Yesterday 3rd August 2023, The technical teaching of the learners on how to make reusable sanitary pads started in Nabuganyi CU primary school, Busaana Sub County, Kayunga District. At least 117 learners were actively involved in the training and grateful to have achieved 85% of the training competence in making sketch boxes. With our Lead of Training programs Lamaro Mercy and Dorah Nabukenya actively guiding the learners during the training sessions.
We are thrilled to support our program with magical Football games after completion to form all our clubs in our network schools in the sub county in order to mobilize a great number of girls, community members, boys affected by drug abuse in the school and the community and other schools as we engage them in football matches and After-Match trainings in practical skills and mentorship in the near months. Football is fun and health, it attract and unite people from different background and this shall add great impact by giving joy for our boys and girls to find another reason to keep them at school till completion.
